Walking and Sighting Some Travelers Passing Through the Farm

Tall Guy called me and told me to bring my camera.  Dang!  He never does that unless there is something good to see, so off I went out the door with my trusty Canon G9.  38 of these travelers had stopped by the cow pasture for some dinner.  I like how in this first picture the geese mirror the windmills.  Kind of looks like they are saying good bye to their northern friends as they turn and head south for the winter.

  1. That is a LOT of geese.... do you usually have them on your farm? Or I guess I should ask if you have a pond they stop by on your farm?

  4. At least they weren't in the front yard, leaving their "debris".
    Love looking at your windmills!

  5. Hi Lana, Great pictures of the geese. So--they are migrating. Bet you'll see more migrating birds these next few weeks.

    Great post.

    Have a great Sunday.
    Hugs,
