Tall Guy called me and told me to bring my camera. Dang! He never does that unless there is something good to see, so off I went out the door with my trusty Canon G9. 38 of these travelers had stopped by the cow pasture for some dinner. I like how in this first picture the geese mirror the windmills. Kind of looks like they are saying good bye to their northern friends as they turn and head south for the winter.
That is a LOT of geese.... do you usually have them on your farm? Or I guess I should ask if you have a pond they stop by on your farm?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Farm...love it!
ReplyDeleteI have had 2 flocks come over head the last few days maybe 25 or so had to count. They are on the move I thought it was a little early.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I love geese! hope they stay away from those windmill blades.
ReplyDeleteAt least they weren't in the front yard, leaving their "debris".
ReplyDeleteLove looking at your windmills!
Hi Lana, Great pictures of the geese. So--they are migrating. Bet you'll see more migrating birds these next few weeks.

Have a great Sunday.
