Walking Silly

This is one of my favorite poems.  I have been constantly reminded of it as I start off in the world of blogging because of all the nonsense words I have to type sometimes to send a post.  I even started writing them down, hope I am not starting a new form of OCD!  I think I will create my own version of Jabberwocky and call it Bloggerwocky.  Hmmmmm... Dang!  That sounds kind of fun!

JABBERWOCKY by Lewis Caroll

Twas brillig and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe,
All mimsy were the borogroves
And the mome raths outgrabe.
Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jub Jub bird
And shun the frumious bandersnatch!

He took his vorpal sword in hand,
Long time the manxome foe he sought.
So rested he, by the tumtum tree
And stood awhile in thought.

And as in uffish thought he stood,
the Jabberwock with eyes aflame
came whiffling through the tulgey wood
and burbled as it came.

One two!  One two!  And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker snack
He left it dead, and with its head
He came galumphing back.

Hast thou slain the jaberwock?
Come to my arms my beamish boy.
Calooh callay, oh frubjous day!
He chortled in his joy.

BLOGGERWOCKY by Lana

Twas feurki and the neesitro nobsclogs
Did dever and ollyra in the clogi,
All edusty were the insunbrs
And the jumviri nesons dasi.
Beware the Bloggerwock, my child!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Archch Archch bird
And shun the amblemit mirogginatch!

Ok, you get the idea.  Sorry, but I have just been dying to do that for a long time!
