Walking to School for Tink

Well..... she didn't actually have to walk to school, just out to the bus!  One down and then one more to go.  Tink had a great day, but Bear and I picked her up from school instead of her riding the bus home because of the heat.  Tuesday will be the challenge to have both girls and me ready to go out the door  by 7:10.
Tall Guy is in charge of pony tails in our house.  That is his one bit of advice to daddies of little girls, "Learn how to make a pony tail!"  He loves this time with the girls.
This picture above is going to be one of my all-time favorites!  Tall Guy even has his eyes open!  Wooo!

Now today, Saturday, we run Tink to soccer practice, then to a birthday party, then Tall Guy gets to go with me to my 30 year high school reunion.  How crazy is that?  Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!

  2. What cute family pics!! :-) Have a good weekend, and enjoy the time at the reunion. Your classmates should have grown up by their 30th, huh. Hope it's fun. Maybe Tall Guy can make pony tails...............maybe not. ;-)

  4. Hey!! Thanks for stopping by as well. If we have a daughter the ponytail thing will be a must for my husband. So how do you feel about the kids being back in school? Happy, Sad....excited that they will now be occupied?

  5. Oh how special.... Tink looks so happy to be going to school... Glad that Daddy learned to make ponytails.....Good for him!!!! That's a rule for all Daddy's!!!!!!

You all remind me so much of another friend I had in Texas. She and her hubby had children while in the 40's.... You probably make alot better parents than I did in my early 20's... ha....

I was born when my mother was 42.... I was the youngest of three.

    Have a great weekend, Lana.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  10. Great pictures! Glad it was a good first day!
I had a flash-back to MY Dad trying to make pony tails--he never figured out that you hold the brush in a HORIZONTAL position--not VERTICAL. Then he wondered why my sisters and I cried!
I made sure to teach my husband that one!
Hope you have a good reunion!
Did you decide on a new dress?
