How cute!! Isn't it fun to see young children with no fear of these great beasts! And really, if the great beasts wanted to, they could simply crash through that fence - but they don't. When our daughter was little, she would go into the pasture in the valley and sit down on the ground, waiting for the herd of Jerseys to all run toward her and stand around. She had absolutely no fear of them.
This was about four years ago. We needed to pick up the apples so I could mow under the tree so we threw them over the fence, and the cows came right up! It turned in to one of my favorite photo shoots with the kids!
We do have feeders about ready for market, so if anyone wants some good old Indiana farm raised beef in the freezer this winter, get your order in now!
