Walking in Our "New" House

DANG!  I thought this was already posted last night!  The party went VERY well, but let's look at this post for a little bit while I work on editing pictures from today.  I'm a little tuckered out!

Here is a quick look back at the chaos we have been living in for a while:

 READY FOR THE

BIG

REVEAL

?

 TA DA!!!!!!!

My mom made the cute pumpkins!  Want to know a very good thing?  Not only are these rooms, and the kitchen clean, but everything behind closed doors is ORGANIZED AND DE-CLUTTERED!

WOOO!  THANK YOU MISS LAURA!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I DID HELP, BUT SHE IS A GREAT COACH AND PAL TO WORK ALONG SIDE WHEN YOU HAVE TO MAKE THE BIG DECISIONS.

How does my upstairs look you ask?  Well............. After we tackle my side of the office, we will head upstairs and get it ship shape.

The table decorations are all stuff I had squirreled away from BC times,  before cat and children.  Hopefully all three are now grown up enough to not break anything.

Time to go bake cupcakes for Little Bear's Big Day tomorrow.  Stay tuned for more pics of the festivities!

  2. I am so jealous...my freezer cooking stuff is still piled in my kitchen, I have laundry in the living room and let's not talk about upstairs. And I don't have a husband and kids or cats! Way to go!

  8. Congratulations. How on earth can you keep it that way with kids in the house? or even just adults? We get our house clean, but we're kinda messy livers. :-) Love the photo of your cat in the window. So where is all the schoolwork now? You've done a fantastic job. Do you hire out?? ;-)

  11. You've done a brilliant job! I'm sooo jealous.

Hubby is putting a new floor in the kitchen (old one is slanted like the vintage houses were 100 years ago). Totes full of kitchen ware are piled everywhere with my Christmas decorations around them!

Can hardly wait until the new cabinets are in on December 8th.

Doesn't it feel great to know that it's wonderfully neat and tidy - even where you can't see? How about a trip to Canada to help me when I move everything back into the kitchen?
