Walking with the Paparazzi and PJs

The girls are getting a bit paranoid around me, but they looked so darned cute tonight, all sisterly and such.  They kept saying, "ACK!  No Paparazzi! No Paparazzi!"

I say "Point and Shoot On!"

I need some help, though, from you veteran pic takers!  I keep getting red eye!  Any suggestions?  I was in the Auto mode.....Maybe indoors?  Maybe I should get to know my manual settings?

Yep, that's my laundry on the back of the couch~ Shhhhhh don't tell FlyLady.  I will get them upstairs in the morning.

Anywho, they are still cute in their PJs even though they are both older and wiser than they were two weeks ago! Sigh....

Have a great day out there where you are!  Stay warm too!

  2. Trying this again. Does this link help?

  3. Oh Lana, they are both just so adorable. Enjoy them NOW --since they will both be grown up so quickly....

Did you get snow??? We just got flurries with no accumulations... It's VERY cold here though.

  4. they are so adorable!

  5. What cute girls! I've become a big fan of using manual mode everywhere. Although when I'm inside I set my white balance to auto. trying to figure out the color of light bulbs is too confusing. And if all else fails there is a red eye correction setting on the retouch menu.

  6. So glad you asked this question. The comments are helpful to me too! AND, of course, your girls are just darling!! Are they enjoying getting ready for Christmas?

  7. Adam did the same thing after I got my new camera! "No camma, mom!"

Red eye is hard to avoid with the flash, and good pictures indoors are hard to get without the flash. I need to go check out Cris's link.

I want a flash that will bounce off the ceiling. I think that might help a little bit.

  8. I keep thinking I need to do the Fly Lady thing and blog about it to MAKE myself get organized.......
