What better way to brighten your day than send you a huge bouquet of
flowers from Hawaii?!?! I thought about having a contest to see who
could name all the different varieties because I am afraid I do not know
them all. I will try to identify them. These flowers are for you my
dear readers, especially you who need some beauty and color in your day
today. You know who you are. To continue from my post yesterday, HUGS
and LOVE to you who are fighting the good fight and helping others fight
along side them.
These beautiful trees were everywhere!
Bird of Paradise By the way, the next eleven pictures were taken at Pearl Harbor!
Orchid?
Hibiscus?
Plumeria?
Cactus and other green plants plus aloe
I know these next two look like they were taken in a rain forest, but they were growing between our hotel and the Royal Hawiian.
Now we have moved on to Maui.
Our cleaning crew left us a little romantic message with our Aloha greetings flowers, aka leis, from the Maui airport. Awwwwww. ;-)
From our 12hour trip called "The Road to Hana." I will blog more about this journey later!
This was a garden at our lunch site.
Across from out lunch spot live the owners of Neutrogena . Here is their lane.
Sorry, but this was taken "on the go!" The round balls growing from the tree are macadamia nuts! YUM!
The church at Charles Lindbergh's burial site.
A banyan tree
Wild goats and a cool backdrop.
I have no clue, but I loved this flower, and it was growing right outside a restroom !
See? Nice camo job!
Hope these brightened your day!
Beautiful. I was amazed at the beauty of the flowers in Hawaii. The colors are so vibrant and every space seems to be glowing. Great photography.

ReplyDeleteOh Lana, they are gorgeous.. I recognize many of them --in the orchid family... They all do look like tropical plants..

These photos are so nice! I could almost feel the sun and warmth from them! The flowers are so beautiful that they almost don't seem real, though I know they are.
ReplyDeleteyour pics are amazing..... I guess I didn't pay attention to the flowers at Pearl Harbor. I LOVE flora and fauna but for some reason I missed all that beauty.
